ASC Advisors Expands Senior Team

Max Rayden Joins us from Edelman as a Senior Director, based in West Palm Beach.

March 19, 2025 – ASC Advisors (“ASC” or the “Firm”), a strategic communications firm focused on the alternative investment management industry, today announced that Max Rayden, a senior communications advisor with significant experience working with investment managers across media relations, brand building, reputation management, special situations and crisis communications, has joined the Firm as a Senior Director based in West Palm Beach.

 The addition reflects ASC’s ongoing focus on the South Florida market as it continues to attract investment managers and senior talent, and enhances the Firm’s capabilities, expertise, and ability to serve existing and prospective clients. In this role, Max will work closely with Miami-based ASC Managing Director and communications veteran Keely Gispan to further expand the Firm’s presence in the South Florida region.

 Prior to joining ASC, Max spent six years on the Financial Services team at Edelman Smithfield, where he provided strategic communications counsel to clients across the capital market structure including private equity and private credit firms, hedge-funds, venture capital, asset managers, and banks. Previously, Max was a Senior Account Executive at JConnelly with a focus on communications in the financial services sector. Before entering financial communications, Max spent over five years in the financial sector, working in asset management, equity sales, and the family office space in both London and New York. Max is also a non-practicing legal barrister in the UK.

Max was born and educated in London, where he received a BA in Classical Studies from King’s College London, an MA in The History of International Relations from the London School of Economics, a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School, and passed the Bar Professional Training Course at The College of Law. A full bio for Max can be found here.
